Ghana is located on the West Coast of Africa, along the Gulf of Guinea on the south and bordered by Cote d lvoire on the West, Togo on the East and Burkina Faso on the North.

Terrain
--- Behind coastal plain, land rises from Volta river basin to plateau in West. Mountain in Eastern part with savannah in the North. Lowest point is the Atlantic Ocean, 0 meters with highest point being mount Afadjato, 886 meters. Lake Volta in Ghana is the world’s largest artificial lake.
Climate
--- Northern Ghana has a rainy season from April to October. The rest of the year is dry and hot with temperatures up to 38C. In southern Ghana, the rains last from April to June with temperatures ranging between 21C to 32C.

--- Tourist can bring in person items duty free but for details of Trade, goods and specialist equipment. Please contact the customs Excise and preventive service or the nearest Ghanaian diplomatic Mission.
Visa
--- A valid passport is required by all visitors and a visa except for citizens of Ecowas States. These can be obtained from the nearest Ghanaian Diplomatic Missions and Consulates in the whole world.
